JOHN COLTRANE & PAUL QUINICHETTE~ "CATTIN WITH COLTRANE AND QUINICHETTE".  PRESTIGE Records LP 7158 RARE MONO Deep Groove First pressing (1959) with FIRST PRESSING Address: "203 SOUTH WASHINGTON AVE, BERGENFIELD NJ." on both original yellow labels and bottom back cover (see closeup photos). Original laminated cover.   Recording by Rudy Van Gelder...."RVG" found in dead wax trail-off area (see last pic) and noted on back cover KENT MEMORIAL JAZZ LIBRARY Rare sticker. (Upper rt)  Thick Inflexible Original Vinyl Plays Audiophile-like!!! With MAL WALDRON, ED THIGPEN, JULIAN EUELL
Vinyl Condition: Strong VG++/ VG+ .  extremely light scuffs/hairlines that are not sensitive to touch...and they do not affect play.(carefully tested) Cover Condition: Very Strong VG+  No ringwear, some edge wear, one 4" neatly clear taped seam split top seam, oval glue residue remnant mark left side front cover.    Please see all pics.
PLAY TESTED: Plays with audiophile-like sound fidelity...Extremely powerful and clean; scuffs do not affect play.   A wonderful production made 58 years ago!

Next day professional and caring packaging.  Vinyl and cover separated.  Placed in a poly bag. Then placed in a sturdy professional Lp mailer with 2 additional cardboard filler pads to preserve this historic jazz album.
