John Coltrane’s classic “My Favorite Things” vinyl record mono edition. This is a first pressing with the white fan and purple/orange labels with no tm above the fan. What makes this even more rare and special is this features a DEEP GROOVE on both label sides. These are extremely difficult to come by. A deep groove is typically an indicator of a true first pressing on these early Atlantic records.
This comes with the original inner sleeve (not graded).
VINYL RECORD: VG++ (Visual Grade)/VG++ (Playback Grade)
Visually this record retains much of its shine and luster with some superficial markings on either side, not abundant. There is a small scratch on the last track of side 1 leading into the deadwax that causes some ticking as the track plays out. This does not cause a skip or repeat of any kind. Otherwise playback is nice and clear.
COVER GRADE: NM
Glossy cover is in absolutley gorgeous condition with no splits, writing or major flaws to report whatsoever. Only minor flaw I could find is a bit of ring wear toward the top of the back cover. You won’t find a nicer looking cover for this vintage record.

GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT (M): Sealed record. I will never grade anything as mint unless it is sealed, at which time it is presumed to be mint.
NEAR MINT (NM): Typically my top grade. The record or cover will show the most minimal of wear. The record will have top gloss. The cover will be free from any ring wear, splits, or handwriting.
EXCELLENT (EX): Not quite Near Mint but a super clean, desirable record, showing a few superficial markings on the vinyl that do not affect playability and the cover free of splits, and any major ringwear.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): The record or cover will show signs of wear but no significant defects. There may be superficial markings in greater abundance, potential for minor groove wear. None of the above affecting the playability to any great detriment. Cover may show signs of more significant ringwear, minor splits or seam/spine wear.
VERY GOOD (VG): Obvious signs of wear but the record still has life in it. The scratches will be more feelable resulting in minor pops or clicks. Skipping should not occur though at this grade. The cover will show greater signs of wear, (ringwear, splits, writing).
VERY GOOD MINUS (VG-): The record or cover will show moderate to heavy wear. For a common record this would not be an acceptable grade. For an in-demand, rare record it should be considered. Skips may be present as the feelable scratches will be much more prevalent. The cover will show heavy wear.
GOOD (G): Very heavy wear. This grade would only be acceptable if the record is rare enough that you might not see another copy available for sale or it's a rare record at a low price. I will rarely sell a record at this grade
