Description:

A Love Supreme is an album by the jazz saxophonist and composer John Coltrane. He recorded it in one session on December 9, 1964, at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, leading a quartet featuring pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Jimmy Garrison and drummer Elvin Jones.

In good natural light the record exhibits a superb ‘factory-fresh’ gloss and immaculately clean appearance, devoid of any marks or blemishes. When scrutinised under focused halogen light, no further marks become visible. A superb visual example of a difficult record to find in such condition.

Audio Grade: NEAR MINT!

The playback is superb! This copy has clearly only been played a handful of times on good quality equipment. There is no sign of groove/play wear. There are quiet lead-ins to both sides. A fantastic listening experience of an original classic as first issued.

Sleeve Grade: EXCELLENT PLUS!
The thick and heavy carton gatefold sleeve retains its original deep sheen with only the faint blemishes and no ring wear. The centre matte finish gatefold is clean and unworn. The spine is strong and fully readable. The corners and edges are sharp. Fantastic!

Inner: NEAR MINT! The original company inner is NEAR MINT, clean with no splits. Beautiful!
