This one is a mono first pressing of John Coltrane's LIVE AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD AGAIN on Impulse Records A-9124. White Label for promotion only. Limited edition. This one is an original issued in 1966, not a re-issued version. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder with "VAN GELDER" stamped on the dead wax of both sides.
Performed by John Coltrane (tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone, bass clarinet, flute), Pharoah Sanders (tenor saxophone, flute), Alice Coltrane (piano), Jimmy Garrison (bass), Emanuel Rahim (percussion), Rashied Ali (drum).
The record plays NM on both sides. Visually, under a bright light, a record has some non-feelable scuffs.
The gatefold laminated cover is strong and beautiful. I also rate it NM. The spine is intact and readable.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.
