Description

2008 Rhino Records limited edition double 45 rpm pressing of JC's legendary "Giant Steps". Numbered edition, this is #1502 out of only 2500 pressed. Comes in a thick gatefold version of the original cover with a cool Coltrane photo on the inside, and housed in an even thicker outer case made to resemble an original tape box. Gorgeous packaging and even more gorgeous sound quality, all-analog mastering from the original tapes by Bernie Grundman (seriously, this sounds phenomenal, its amazing how fresh these tapes still sound after 50+ years!).
VPI cleaned, only played a couple times, the records, gatefold cover, and outer case all in near mint, like new condition. Contains 2 small inserts as well, one with the numbered edition info.
