Description

You are bidding on  JOHN COLTRANE GIANT STEPS

This is the original 1st  pressing on Atlantic SD 1311  US issue  .

Glossy thick cover has a 3 inch bottom right seam split.

Visually vinyl is very glossy with some  hairline scuff marks (none feelable)

Play  graded on an all tube audio system with a Kondo IO-J moving coil cartridge sound is excellent with the occasional barely audible  background surface noise on the quieter passages ( not obtrusive).

Great sounding copy of one of the great jazz pieces.

Check my auctions for some rare original Prestige, Riverside  Blue Note as well as other notable jazz labels  first pressings this month
