JOHN COLTRANE: EXPRESSION on Impulse Gatefold SMAS 91288 from 1967 in EX+

John Coltrane ?– Expression

THE VINYL :  EX+ :  The LP surfaces retain much of their original gloss, with minimal spindlewear evident on the labels.   Present on both sides are some light marks, including sleevewear from the original, generic paper inner sleeve, and a few hairlines. There are some smudge marks on both labels- likely from the black ink before it dried (please see photos).

There are no deep marks, and the stereo audio quality is strong and quiet.

Rudy Van Gelder is listed as the Engineer on the inside of the gatefold cover, however his initials are not in the deadwax run out.



THE COVER :  VG+ :  Gatefold / ringwear on the front and back cover with moderate scuffing / all of the seams, including the spine, are intact / name written in ink on the front and on the back cover / no paper tears, paper loss, or other stains or writing.


We have placed both the cover and the LP into separate, protective plastic sleeves.
