Description
Very rare 1964 Impulse Records, original US mono pressing in the laminated gatefold sleeve, orange and black Impulse! labels. One of Coltrane's greatest, gorgeous analog sound on the original thick 60s vinyl, "Van Gelder" mastering stamp in the vinyl runouts.
VPI cleaned, record in strong VG+/NM- condition, plays excellent, amazingly clean and clear sound for its age (even the really quiet parts, like the long bass solo, have almost no surface noise).
The thick gatefold cover is also strong VG+ to EX condition as well, very little shelf wear at all. The lamination is still very clean and shiny, no peeling and minimal rubbing. Easily one of the best overall copies I've ever come across for "Crescent", looks and sounds beautiful.
Includes original Impulse inner sleeve.
