Description
Prestige PRLP 7158
No reserve on original mono press from 1952, featuring the contrasting tenors of Coltrane and Quinichette backed by Mal Waldron on piano, Julian Euell on bass and Ed Thigpen.
RVG is machine stamped in the dead wax.
Vinyl is VG+++* (EXCELLENT), with high gloss and a couple superficial marks that cause minimal (if any) noise. The parts we sampled sounded gorgeous, with rich sound and no noise.
Cover -- with laminated front -- has mild staining on the back and a 2" split on the top edge. Otherwise, very good, with no cutout marks or writing.
Deep groove labels are clean (see photos below).
