JOHN COLTRANE 'BLUE TRAIN' LP 1959 US MONO ORIGINAL BLUE NOTE BLP 1577 EAR
This is a lovely copy of this rare and very collectible original Blue Note LP from 1959 complete with matrix numbers:
RVG-BN-LP-1577-A...9M RVG-BN-LP-1577-B...9M
+ the 'ear' symbol in the run out grooves of both sides + Blue Note Records Inc. 47 West 63rd. NYC addresses on both sides of the inner label (see photos). 
The cover is in exceptional shape apart from some minor corner wear, however, there is a very small 1cm split in the bottom right corner. The spine is near perfect while the rear of the cover has some very slight discolouring towards the spine (see photos) but, again, it's only minor. There's also a small import stamp/price sticker (see photo). The labels are clean although the B side label seems slightly smudged (see photos) and the inner sleeve is generic. The vinyl plays really well but with some minimal background noise on the A side. The B side has hardly any background noise whatsoever. 
I've tried to be ultra-critical in my description but in reality this is a stunning copy of a desirable LP that's over 50 years old and still in great condition. I'd say the condition of both cover and vinyl are a very conservative VG+.
