Description

An excellent copy of John Coltrane's legendary Blue Train.  Blue Note BST 1577.  From the collection of a close friend who is the original owner of this fantastic record.  Coltrane, Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, Kenny Drew, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones.  This is an early stereo pressing in the original Blue Note mono jacket with a stereo label affixed.  47 W. 63rd St. Lables with the ear and the RVG initals and the word stereo imprinted in the deadwax on both sides.  With the original Blue Note inner sleeve.  The jacket is in excellent condition with no flaws and the original price sticker still affixed on the back.  The record is also in excellent condition with only a few non sounding scuffs on side 2.  I rate it VG++ and very close to NM-

I try to grade records accurately.  I  have found over the years that records don't always play or sound the same on different systems.  I will refund your purchase price (less shipping costs) upon return of the record if you feel my description was inaccurate or incomplete in some way.

I quote shipping in the domestic U.S. by media mail which is the most reasonable.  I am happy to ship records in any manner requested at the buyer's expense.  I do not charge a shipping fee.  On international shipments I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the cost of any shipper or box.  The USPS will no longe ship records internationally by economy letter post.  All intenational shipments under 4 pounds must now be shipped by international first class mail  (airmail).  Packages ove 4 pounds must be shipped prioity mail.   I prefer to combine multiple purchases in one shipment to save on shipping charges.  I am happy to hold purchases for winning bidders until they want them shipped.  If you want a record held, please pay for the record without shipping since ebay charges me when the auction closes.

I prefer payment by paypal which allows me to ship records immediately.  However, I am happy to accept other methods of payment preferred by the winning bidder including money orders or other payment methods.

Please email any questions about a listing before it closes.  I will assume that winning bidders know whay they are purchasing.  Thanks
