Record is NEAR MINT. It is only slightly played and plays fine. Sleeve is VG. Sleeve is a bit rubbed at opening, quite rubbed at opening corners and has two closed splits in laminate.

IMPORTANT NOTE FROM SELLER We have dealt in vinyl for a long time but were not aware quite how desirable this LP would be. We don't specialise in classical music. When we became aware of the interest this record has generated we obviously looked at it again very carefully to make sure that our description of the item was completely accurate. When we came to reassess the LP in a super-critical light we found that we have over-rated the condition. We have now had the record professionally cleaned on a Keith Monks machine and we have played it on several different decks. Here is a completely accurate revised grading for the LP: The labels have no spindle marks. The vinyl looks EX- but it does not play as good as it looks. There is a half minute scratch near the end of side one. The scratch is audible but not too bad. Otherwise there are odd light ticks in places and some light noise in odd bits, usually quiet bits. There is some mild loss of clarity in bits, this only affects about five minutes in the whole LP and it is still an enjoyable playing copy. We thought long and hard about whether to end the auction and start again but eventually we decided to add this note instead. We will notify all the bidders of this additional information via eBay and fully appreciate that they may want to withdraw their bids. At the end of the auction we will confirm that the high-bidder has seen these additional notes. If the high-bidder does not want the record we will offer it to the second high-bidder and so on until a bidder accepts it. At thespacebar.co.uk we have total integrity. We would have noticed the grading error prior to shipping and would have notified the high-bidder with the information posted here and given them the opportunity to reject the LP.
