Description
For auction is JOE HENDERSON's "In 'n Out" on Bluenote BLP-4166 MONO, 1964. The record is Deep-grooved on both sides, has dead wax Van Gelder etching and the "Ear". It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides complete. The sound is outstanding! Not a hint of any extraneous noise.
Visually, the vinyl is VG+ or better, with one or two light scuffs that don't affect play..
The sleeve is VG+ (probably better) with no flaws of note. It's clean, with solid seams and corners all around. It has radio-station number on top front corner and small "review copy" stamp on back. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. A super record, in great condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $100.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
