HERE IS A RARELY SEEN GEM IN SUPERB GRADED VG +++++ EXCELLENT CONDITION!
JOAN REGAN: "JUST JOAN" THE GIRL NEXT DOOR LONDON RECORDS LL 1512
THIS LP INCLUDES A LOVELY SELECTION OF 12 SONGS OF LOVE AND REFLECTIVE SADDER MOODS THAT ARE OFTEN REGARDED AS "TORCH SONGS" THAT ONLY EXPERIENCED AND TALENTED BALLAD SINGERS CAN HANDLE- JOAN REGAN RECORDED NOVELTY POP MATERIAL AS WELL HAVING A NUMBER OF BRITISH HIT SINGLES BUT DECCA/LONDON RECORDS GAVE HER THE LUXURY OF A 12 INCH LP AS AN EARLY CONCEPT LP IN 1956,ONE OF THE FEW BRITISH GIRL SINGERS WHO DID THIS AND WITH LUSH,TENDER ARRANGEMENTS BY JOHNNY ROBERTS WITH SOME OCCASIONAL SAXOPHONE SOLOS. IT WAS NOT A BIG SELLER-PROBABLY DELETED WITHIN A YEAR OF ISSUE AS DECCA/LONDON ISSUED HUNDREDS OF LP's EVERY YEAR WITH ONLY THE BIGGEST SELLERS REMAINING IN PRINT FOR MORE THAN A YEAR. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN SOUGHT AFTER WORLDWIDE-POSSIBLY NOT ISSUED OUTSIDE THE UK. THIS IS A VERY NICE COPY THAT HAS HAD A FEW PLAYS BUT STILL VERY WELL CARED FOR AND THE BEST COPY I HAVE FOUND IN MANY YEARS SO DON'T MISS OUT!

A FEW VERY TINY AND FAINT SURFACE MARKS IN STRONG LIGHT BUT HARDLY ANY SURFACE NOISE AND GLEAMING SURFACES! ALSO NO SPLITS OR RING WEAR. NICE GLOSSY LAMINATED COVER ! NICE EASY VG ++++
MOST COPIES THAT SURVIVE ARE IN DREADFUL CONDITIONS AS SO OFTEN THE CASE WITH 1950s LP's! HAS ORIGINAL UK PAPER WAX SLEEVE.
