By far the most rare of all Joan Jett records, this is the infamous original 1979 white label Holland pressing of her first ever single. Upon leaving her band The Runaways, Joan went to England to record some tracks with Steve Jones and Paul Cook of The Sex Pistols. Prior to the self-released version of her debut album, a handful of this single were pressed by Vertigo Record and sold exclusively in Holland back in 1979. It features the original version of "I Love Rock 'N Roll" with The Sex Pistols playing back up for Joan. Years later a re-recorded version of the song would become Joan's biggest hit single and this Holland original has since remained the most sought after of all Joan Jett records.
As if the single is not already rare enough this one is hand signed by Joan on the cover! Cover remains in excellent condition with record pristine near mint. The ultimate gift for any fan and a truly rare collectable that will continue to grow in value.
