Description
This JJ Johnson/Kai Winding/Benny Green “Trombone By Three” album is a compilation of three separate studio sextet sessions recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in 1949 and 1951. This is a 1956 first mono release remastered by Van Gelder with the West 50th St. address on the labels and cover. Photos show condition and details of actual items.
Album Description
· VINYL- VG++: Album has been played several times. A play test revealed accurate sound, no distortion or mis-tracking. A visual review of both sides revealed small scuffs on side two typically caused by pressing agents but has no audible effect on sound quality. Side-1: PRLP 7023-A, Side-2: PLRP-B and RVG etched in the runout.
· RECORD LABELS: Yellow and black “Fireworks” labels with 446 50th Street, N.Y.C. address.
· COVER- VG++: Front and back surfaces and edges show minor age wear; there are no marks, writing, corner cuts or seam splits.
· SLEEVE: Paper sleeve.
