Description

Debut album by American guitar icon J.J. Cale, released in1971. Featuring (now) well-known songs such as “Call Me the Breeze,” “Crazy Mama” (his only top 40 hit), and “After Midnight,” this copy is a hard-to-find early 1972  repress. The album’s label went through several variations in its first three years - this one featuring the second variation with the Shelter logo over stamped with a black rectangle to avoid copyright infringement with DC Comics [the First pressing logo was red with an egg image bearing an inverted Superman logo]. This is the Jacksonville pressing. The vinyl is a nice glossy VG+ with a few  light scuffs and scratches visible under strong light; cover is likewise VG+ with normal ringwear and spine wear but no splits. There is a slight crease on rear corner - otherwise no creases. Sorry, no printed inner.
