Description

The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid.  The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's.  An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored.  These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay.  With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await.  My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner.  I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed.  I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find.   All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Verve deep groove STEREO vinyl LP V6-8587 - released 1964 
EX vinyl appears new with no play or handling marks and no spindle marks on labels.  There are a few superficial pressing marks but upon play test have no effect on sound.  Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed clear vivid stereo sound on quality RVG production.  Though listed as engineer in credits this LP does not have 'Van Gelder' or 'RVG' stamped in dead-wax.  EX laminated gatefold cover has light shelf wear, firm broad spine and straight seams with no dings or stubs.  Interior is bone-white.  Opted not to photograph interior due to firm spine hinge which do not wish to compromise.  Will leave that to buyer, should they desire.
