Original United States Mono pressing of this hard to find album.  The copy we are offering here is a heavy weight flat edge pressing on the Deep Groove Blue Note label with “33 1/3 Microgroove Long Playing” at the top.  Both sides have “RVG”, “THE EAR”, and “9M” in the dead wax.  The address on the record labels is listed as “Blue Note Records, 767 Lexington Ave, NYC”.  The address on the back cover is “Blue Note Records, 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21”. 

The recording features Jimmy Smith on organ, Thornel Schwartz on guitar, and Donald Bailey on drums.  The back cover notes were written by Leonard Feather.

COVER: The surface looks pretty good on both the front and back.  The jacket has a 1 inch top right seam split, a 12 inch bottom seam split, and about 9 inches of spine splitting.  It grades G+.
