OK - BACK TO LPs OF VARIOUS STYLES - This is a reasonably priced 1953 VANGUARD JAZZ SHOWCASE RECORDS U.S. MONO DEEP GROOVE 10" LP titled 'Jimmy Rushing Sings The Blues' from veteran blues singer Jimmy Rushing with a stellar jazz combo. It is Vanguard Jazz Showcase Records U.S. catalog number VRS-8011, maroon labels with silver print, thick rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, thick cardboard cover.

Condition of record is for all intents and purposes a SOLID NM with just one very light sleeve mark and no surface marks resulting from use. Condition of cover is VG- with splits for the entire length of the spine and the top edge (I have carefully and neatly repaired these splits by taping from the inside), a little writing in black pen near the bottom right corner of the back cover, some contact and ring wear, and some wear and flaking along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no water damage, tears, or stickers. This original 1953 10" LP would be a choice addition to any blues vocal or jazz record collection!
