Jimmy Rogers and Eddie Taylor, Blues From Chicago, Volume One.
Circa late 1960s UK pressed Python Records LP, PLP-KM 6.
Disc has white labels with stamped details.
A very scarce issue - these Python LPs were limited to 99 only and rarely appear on the open market.
Vinyl in VG condition. I use VG in its correct sense, and not to describe a poor LP. Just a few light spider trail marks visible at centre spindle areas, and labels are bright and undefaced. Surfaces still have a high gloss, although display a fair few light surface scuffs and hairlines, perhaps three or four of which are more immediately visible. There are no really deep digs or gouges. Playback shows a few instances of soft ticks and crackle, but not prolonged enough or loud enough to be any great distraction to listening pleasure, although one is occasionally aware of background noise. The surfaces are otherwise underlyingly quiet and not noisy or crackly throughout. The recording is still bright and clear and not distorted or worn. Playback has been tested in entirety and not just sampled.
Fully laminated sleeve close to EX. Front and rear panels are very clean, bright and glossy. No sticker, pen or similar marks Edges and tips are very clean, sharp and unworn. No fraying or seam splits. Entry side still acceptably crisp and not feathered. Only really marred by two areas of air pocketing beneath the laminate, one at top left hand corner of front panel next to spine, the other at bottom right hand corner of rear panel next to spine. The laminate is not torn however, and has suffered no loss.

A Note On Grading:Note that audio grading is subjective and based on sensitivity of equipment used for playback. In this instance playback has been tested on a vintage Technics Quartz Direct Drive SL1700 MKII turntable with Shure cartridge, Technics SU-C 03 amp and Technics SB-F2 Linear Phase speakers.
Also note that I generally do not clean vinyl unless so noted. Most vinyl will show improved playback quality with your preferred cleaning method, but I leave this to the prospective buyer, as controversy still surrounds the ideal method of cleaning vinyl.
