Stunning condition ULTRA RARE uniquely picture sleeved Sweden release of this 45 from 1964. Both sides are great. The POUNDING freakbeat/mod dancer "Don't Come Back" sounds far ahead of its time and is an instant floorfiller. Has been comped on "Beat Beat Beat vol. 3". "Husky" is also a great uptempo dancer which has been comped on "Instro-Hipsters A Go-Go". Have a listen below! The sleeve is printed in Sweden and the 45 is pressed in Norway - this is the way it was sold when it was released.
During a couple of weeks in June 1964, Jimmy Nicol was a temporary member of The Beatles, standing in for Ringo Starr on a couple of gigs in Denmark, Holland, Australia and Hong Kong. Jimmy then went on to become a member of the hugely successful swedish group The Spotnicks.
