Description
On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jimmy Campbell called 'Son Of Anastasia' and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Fontana label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS JIMMY CAMPBELLS FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND REALLY IS AN ULTRA RARITY!!!! IT IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST LPS EVER RELEASED ON THE FONTANA LABEL AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! IT SOLD VIRTUALLY NOTHING ON RELEASE BACK IN 1969 AND WAS DELETED IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE!!!! AS A RESULT IT VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL (SEE BELOW FOR FULL DETAILS) AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS FONTANA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Fontana UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is STL 5508 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Fontana Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition overall (though please read everything below)!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! However the record is slightly uneven on one part of this LP. And whilst my player tracks this easily with NO jumps - there is a brief surface sound as the needle passes over it. It is SIGNIFICANTLY less on one side - and can be helped considerably by turning down the treble on the controls. And in reality it is only audible on the run on grooves and gaps - as it is lost for the most part way behind the music. And generally the record plays VERY well - with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! And despite the above mentioned uneveness - think EXTREMELY carefully before passing over this LP!!!! BECAUSE THIS REALLY IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS EVER RELEASED ON THE FONTANA LABEL AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! The record must grade visually Excellent(Minus) if not better - with the playing grade as described above!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press FULLY Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), AWESOME shiny UNGLAZED laminate, some VERY minor uneveness towards the VERY bottom (VERY minor indeed!), only a VERY few light creases, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
