UP FROM THE SKIES/GYPSY EYES (Experience Hendrix 1007 #EH-9/10 limited edition 1st pressing CLEAR vinyl with PICTURE SLEEVE, 2005): UNPLAYED MINT.
This special edition 45 was issued in the Jimi Hendrix Classic Singles Collection in 1998, and is otherwise unavailable. The black vinyl series of ten was a limited pressing, but the colored vinyls, like this one, are insanely scarce; there were only 1000 sets produced. The ten singles weren't individually numbered on the labels; we take the numbers from the trail-out matrix. These are small-hole 45s; the yellow "insert" you see in the center is, in reality, printed onto the label. This record is fully authorized by Jimi's family; it's not a fake or repro, and is UNPLAYED MINT. The pressing of the set won't be repeated; the firm that issued it went out of business in 2010. These singles are seldom seen for individual sale. Only 1000 collectors can ever hope to own the rarest-of-the-rare Jimi Hendrix colored vinyl 45s; good luck finding anybody else offering them outside the box set...
