This is the UK 1st Press of 'The Cry Of Love' by Jimi Hendrix. This earliest A-1/B-1 press has the matt black Track labels, wonderful heavy vinyl, the original polylined inner sleeve and gatefold EJ Day Track logo sleeve.
The record in Excellent condition. The vinyl is jet black with a stunning bright gloss. There is no whitening of the grooves or any sign of heavy play at all. There are just a few wispy insignificant marks on both sides. It sits completely flat on the turntable and when played the sound is rich, warm and extremely clear. The label is also in superb condition. The black is bold, the silver is bright and the text is sharp. There is only the very slightest spindle wear and a couple of spider marks. The record is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve.
The sleeve is in Excellent condition. The images and text are exceptionally bold and the colours are vivid. The edges have only the very slightest wear. The inside is in superb condition, extremely clean and bright. The whole sleeve is exceptionally solid and the spine is firm with perfect text.
