THE LP IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL MATTE GATEFOLD SLEEVE "Printed and made by the E. J. Day Group, London and Bedford" WHICH IS FACTORY SEALED ON THE LEFT SIDE EDGE

This was the first of the posthumous releases in the Jimi Hendrix catalogue and probably the best as it collected most of the studio tracks that were either completed or very near completion before Hendrix died.
Some of these tunes, like "Angel" and "Ezy Rider," have become well-known pieces in the Hendrix canon, but they sit alongside lesser-known gems like "Night Bird Flying" and the Dylanesque "My Friend."

LABELS: The labels are clean, bright and unmarked with about a dozen or so spindles traces (some of them quite careless on Side One) but a lovely copy which hasn't been over-played at all
VINYL Visual: The vinyl surfaces still retain their original deep, glossy sheen with just some (very) light scuff marks and a couple of (very) tiny blemishes - but these have no real audio consequence - the record sounds sensational throughout
VINYL Audio: Sensational audio delivery with a beautiful crystal clear, deep, rich and warm sound - incredibly fresh and immediate feel to the audio and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my records prior to listing, and it's always an immense pleasure to return to this one) there are no scratches, no sticks or jumps and barely any clicks or pops (really hardly any at all - it sounds great). The sound quality is simply sensational throughout and the whole LP plays to a very high standard with great clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is critically graded a very, very strong EXCELLENT to (+) for audio - great copy - sounds wonderful
SLEEVE: Being matte and untreated this sleeve is incredibly prone to wear but this copy, apart from a little ring to the back is in beautiful condition - clean, sharp and fresh. The outer surfaces are clean and unmarked, as are the inner surfaces and the spine is crisp and sharp with all text clear and bold - very fine example to this easily worn sleeve - EXCELLENT
