Jimi Hendrix 'This Flyer' Lp.Complete with ALL Black Panther literature/flyers etc.;2 newspapers-one entitled 'the plague' and about heroin addiction and another headlined with 'Free the Panther 21 march',3 flyers to do with anti-Vietnam rallies,and one sticker and one fake dollar bill both re.Vietnam.

This was a private pressing to do with the Black Panther Movement and raise funds for them.The Hendrix music is incidental and comes from the really early Hendrix sessions,1964 etc.-interesting stuff but ropy quality.The sticker on the cover with the 'Man who walked into Woodstock....' can be seen clearly in the image supplied.

I have recounted the story before when I sold my own copy of this album(that was missing one of the newspapers-this is complete)re. the crazy way I got it ie.I went to a well-known political book shop in Camden at the time and had to hand the money to a hand coming out of a loft opening whereby the hand reappeared with the Hendrix album!At no time did I see any more than the hand!The album was one of the earliest private pressings made and I think Hendrix's first-certainly in Europe.The package was a real landmark in that it saw the marriage of rock music and politics(agitprop!)in such a direct manner and being fuelled totally from the political end.This is a very rare beast-very few were made anyway and few survive-even less with all the literature.
