I am parting with some of my treasured LPs. Here's a 1967 FIRST GERMAN PRESSING of JIMI HENDRIX LP AXIS BOLD AS LOVE, a STEREO PRESSING. Let's face it, everything he produced in his lifetime is a gift from the gods, and a must have in any music library. These early copies are pretty rare, sound amazing, and this one is in magnificent condition. The German pressing's sound great. They are more an audiophile press than theit US counterparts. The German covers are thinner and more flimsy in general than the hard US cardboard covers, and therefore easily hurt. The front cover has a ballpoint pen autograph of probably the proud owner of this copy. There's a small tear top right. The LP, must have been pressed in with other LP's and is slightly pressed in from the spine. Spine is almost perfect--Top spine corner has a minot tear, and bottom spine corner shows rubbing. ORIGINAL INNER is in great condition with normal corner fold and expected ring pressing. Inside gatefold shows some toning with age, but really very little. The VINYL PLAYS A SOLID EXCELLENT, really closer to NM. So hard to find first pressing Jimi LP's in clean shape. A great grab for someone who wants awesome audio quality from a first pressing.
