Up for sale is a stunning, collector-grade copy of Jimi Hendrix’s live album, Hendrix in the West. This specific archive-quality copy is the desirable 1976 Canadian reissue on the yellow Reprise Records label (Catalog # MS 2049), pressed at the renowned Columbia Records plant in Don Mills, Ontario (identified by the DM matrix runout codes). Finding mid-70s Hendrix pressings is relatively easy, but finding them preserved in this flawless, unblemished condition is incredibly rare. It is the ultimate "keeper copy" upgrade for any serious Jimi Hendrix discography collector.
Both the vinyl and the packaging are in strict Near Mint (NM) condition. The gatefold jacket remains beautifully crisp with zero spine splits, zero edge scuffs, and absolutely no faint ring wear on its notoriously fragile solid-black cover. The vinyl wax looks unplayed, retaining its full factory gloss with completely clean labels and dead-silent playback. Crucially, this set includes the original, highly delicate black-and-white Hendrix memorial inner sleeve featuring his birth and death dates, entirely intact with NO seam splits whatsoever.
