it crackles and it also cracked in places. There are minor scratches and one or two larger and wiper and many hairlines.

EX Excellent = wenig Gebrauchsspuren, geringfügige Oberflächen Hairlines.Das Cover ist geringfügig abgenutzt....little signs of wear, minor surface Hairlines.Das Cover is slightly worn.
VG VeryGood = kleine Wischer, kleine Obeflächenhairlines.Das Cover kann Gebrauchsspuren haben, keine Einrisse oder Beschriftung.....Wiper small, small surfaces Hairlines.Das Cover may have wear, tears or no label.
G Good = Die Platte hat an Qualität verloren. Hat starke Kratzer. Das Cover zeigt Beschädigungen....The Record has lost its quality. Has deep scratches. The cover shows damage.F Fair = Die Schallplatte ist gerade noch abspielbar, allerdings mit sehr starken Qualitätseinbußen. Praktisch nur noch Archivierungswert. Das Cover ist sehr stark beschädigt....The record is still just playable in low resolution. Practically only archival value. The cover is very badly damaged.
