Truly brilliant stuff here - no stoned and stretched out meanderings - the trio of Jimi Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding are caught at their absolute peak on these live in the studio BBC recordings. Very much a Blues side of the Jimi thing. The longest track here goes for five and a half minutes and there is not the hint of a dud amongst them.
The sound quality is superb - the 17 tracks are spread over 3 sides of a 2 LP set.
This is a legitimate issue - NOT a bootleg.
