THIS IS AN ORIGINAL UK MONO PRESSING FROM 1971. IT IS THE GENUINE ARTICLE AND IN MONO! THIS IS HOW YOU'D HAVE HEARD IT ON PIRATE RADIO BACK IN THE 60'S. NOT MANY PEOPLE HAD STEREO IN THOSE DAYS. IT DEFINITELY HAS A DIFFERENT SOUND AND IS MIXED AS IT WAS ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO BE.

MONO WAS THE MAIN FORMAT OF THE DAY AND SO THOSE MIXES WERE DONE AT SEPARATE SESSIONS FOR EACH TRACK. MONO WAS WHERE ALL THE WORK AND TIME WENT AND THE STEREO MIX WAS PRETTY MUCH COBBLED TOGETHER AS AN AFTERTHOUGHT.

The vinyl is in near mint minus condition.  Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is almost 49 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the condition stated.

The  black Track  labels are in excellent condition.

Visually-graded vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and sixty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.

Guide to grades used
Mint                      
Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage
Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible
 
Near Mint              
Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve
 
Excellent                
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and has superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.
 
Very good              
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.
 
Good                      
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler

Please note that, whilst it is comparatively rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post , my part of the transaction contract is legally completed as soon as the item is in the hands of the Post Office.
