THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE 'ARE YOU EXPERIENCED' & 'AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE' 1973 STEREO 2LP.

Jimi Hendrix's first two LPs released as one set.

Pressed in England and released on Polydor TwoSome/Select Double 2683 031.

Play grades as:

Are You Experienced: EX/EX.

Axis: Bold As Love: EX-/EX.

On both sides all musical & vocal passages play clearly & brightly.

There are no sticks, jumps or skips and no evidence of any groove wear at all.There is light surface noise in the run in areas and a little very quiet background crackle in a couple of places in side 1 track 2 of 'Axis'. There are no repeating clicks or tics on any side except for a quiet click that repeats 4 times in the gap between tracks 4 & 5 on side 1 of 'Axis'

When tilted under normal lighting both sides of 'Are You Experienced' appear to be unmarked, while side 1 of 'Axis' has a small group of faint scratches between about 5 & 6 o'clock, side 2 appears to be unmarked.

When tilted under halogen lights all four sides do have a few short, light marks visible with 'Axis' having a few more than 'Experienced' especially on side 1.

Gatefold sleeve grades as VG+.

There is a ring impression on the front (VG) which is just visible in places on the back (VG+). The centre spread is EX. There is also some edge wear and a little spine wear.

Plain white inner sleeves grade as EX.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  

I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.

All items are shipped using Royal Mail and I always obtain proof of posting for items.

United Kingdom shipments should arrive in 2-5 business days from date of shipping.

For International buyers, shipping is by air mail and shipments should arrive in 5- 10 business days from date of shipping.

Delivery times are approximate, they are in business days after the item is shipped. Also please be aware, especially for International shipping, that circumstances beyond my control after shipping can cause delays.
