RICH CLEAR SOUND AFTER 45 YEARS. PLAYS WELL RIGHT THROUGH.

FIRST PRESSING OF JIMI HENDRIX SECOND ALBUM IN THE UK

JIMI HENDRIX - GUITAR, VOCALS

MITCH MITCHELL - DRUMS

Hendrix lovers particularly rate the thoughtful intros he is so famous for (Little Wing), incredible guitar effects (You Got Me Floatin') and the amazing lyrics "Look a golden winged ship is passing my way". All lyrics by Jimi Hendrix except "She's So Fine"-Noel Redding.

Side 1: radio EXP intro, Up From The Skies, Spanish Castle Magic, Wait Until Tomorrow, Ain't No Telling, Little Wing, If 6 was 9

Side 2: You Got Me Floating, Castles Made of Sand, She's So Fine, One Rainy Wish, Little Miss Lover, Bold As Love

Vinyl and sleeve rated "Very Good"* - some minor crackles that do not spoil the listening experience. Very little background noise. Inside sleeve has one inch mark where sticker was removed and small piece of tape on lyric sheet- *see ratings below. Please see my other listings.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.

*Very Good (VG)

Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.

This album is part of my own personal collection of music which I started in 1964 with the Beatles A Hard Day’s Night which cost me 32/6. I have 450 approx records for sale from the 60s and 70s. My favourite artists are Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Cream and Jimi Hendrix but many others are featured.

Why am I selling? Raising money for VSO. Since my family are not interested, I think it is better the records go to music fans and lovers of the “heydays” of rock. Please watch this space.
