1975 ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING U.K. SET w/ A1 - B1 MATRICES
2683-031 ~ POLYDOR RECORDS ~ STEREO
This is a very much sought after set which is the first U.K. vinyl pressing of the ALTERNATIVE stereo mix of Axis Bold As Love which, is known to be a much fuller and stronger mix that does not transmit any of the shrill distortion at top volumes (as opposed to the U.K. Mono which was a weak mix, loved...but weak). Additionally this is the U.K. Version of Are You Experienced which has no Purple Haze in the track list. The vinyl for AXIS is heavier than the vinyl for AYE, this was how the sets were made (I do not know why, perhaps so the U.K. Stereo offering would be that much warmer). Most Polydor pressings are on lighter vinyl and this set is a real beauty!! A must for any enthusiast seeking an incredible mix of both albums. The front of the gated jacket features Are You Experienced art work, and the back has Axis Bold As Love from the top half of the design....the inside of the gate is just a great wide shot of the band with the two track listings. This is an A1-B1 First Pressing.

VINYL x 2 VISUALLY GRADED as MINT MINUS and BOTH PLAY GRADED as MINT MINUS No scratches, hairlines or scuffing other microscopic paper scuffing that is seen with a pen light up close. Play's beautifully with only extremely sporadic light crackle which is unheard during tracks for most of both of the discs.
LABELS are MINT No writing, rips or tears and No markings.
JACKET is VISUALLY GRADED as MINT MINUS No splits, No writing, dimpled corners, rips, tears or damage of any kind, it is a clean gated jacket with a square title seam and fully legible titles. Very Clean!
