COMMENT... HERE IS POSSIBLY ONE OF THE GREATEST DEBUT ALBUMS OF ALL TIME! "ARE YOU EXPERIENCED" FROM THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE WAS FIRST RELEASED BACK IN MAY 1967 AND AT THE TIME WAS A TOTAL MUSICAL REVELATION! AND MAYBE STILL IS! THIS AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT LP HAD SO MUCH GOING FOR IT ie. STRONG SONGS BOTH LYRICALLY AND INSTRUMENTALLY, TOTALLY UNIQUE (at the time) GUITAR RIFFS AND ORIGINAL SUPERBLY THOUGHT OUT GUITAR SOLO'S! THAT HOW COULD IT FAIL AND INDEED IT DIDN'T. WHEN IT WAS FIRST RELEASED ON THE UNSUSPECTING PUBLIC BACK IN '67 IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE MIND-BLOWING EXPERIENCE (no pun intended) AND PROBABLY STILL IS! BETWEEN THEM HENDRIX AND THE BAND MANAGED TO UTILISED EVERY STUDIO TRICK IN THE BOOK ( AND SOME NOT EVEN THOUGHT OF YET! ) TO PRODUCE THIS PSYCHEDELIC ROCK MASTERPIECE!!! ANYWAY ENOUGH REMINISCING .. WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS A REALLY NICE EXAMPLE OF THE ORIGINAL U.K. TRACK MONO FIRST PRESS IN GREAT CONDITION. THE SLEEVE IS REALLY CLEAN, SHINEY AND SQUARE WITH NO SEAM SPLITS OR WRITING! .. IT DOES HOWEVER HAVE SOME SLIGHT CREASING TO THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER AND OVER ON THE REAR OF THE SAME CORNER IT HAS ALSO SUFFERED SOME SCUFFING AND CREASING WHICH ISN'T AS BAD AS IT SOUNDS BUT IT HAS TO BE MENTIONED SO PLEASE CHECK OUT THE PICTURES. AS FOR THE VINYL THIS IS PRESSED ON ORIGINAL THICK HEAVY QUALITY BRITISH VINYL AND IS IN NEAR EXCELLENT CONDITION DESPITE HAVING SOME LIGHT PAPER SCRATCH LINES TO THE SURFACE'S THAT YOU CAN SEE UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT BUT CAN'T FEEL . THE "TRACK" RECORD LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH VERY LITTLE SPINDLE HOLE WEAR AND THE LABEL PRINTING IS VERY SHARP! .. THE RECORD PLAYS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT AND THERE ARE NO JUMPS OR STICK'S! AND THE SOUND QUALITY IS AS YOU WOULD WANT IT TO BE ie. LOUD, WARM AND DISTORTION FREE WITH A FULLNESS OF SOUND THAT IS LITERALLY "MUSIC TO YOUR EARS! AND AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO HEAR! AND I MIGHT ADD JIMI AND THE EXPERIENCE NEVER SOUNDED BETTER THAN ON THIS "MONO" FIRST PRESS U.K. TRACK 1st. ALBUM! ... FACT! ..........
