Notes:-The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Jimi Hendrix (vocals, guitar, bass); Noel Redding (vocals, bass); Mitch Mitchell (vocals, drums). Additional personnel: Chris Wood (flute); Freddie Smith (tenor saxophone); Al Kooper (piano); Mike Finnigan, Steve Winwood (organ); Jack Casady (bass); Buddy Miles (drums); Larry Faucette (congas). Principally recorded at the Record Plant, New York, New York in April and May 1968. On Electric Ladyland Jimi Hendrix stretched and experimented in the studio, going beyond the power-trio format on what would be his last studio album with the Experience. The album was revolutionary in its scope and execution. Using New York City's Record Plant as a gateway to free expression, Hendrix traversed an abstract landscape containing compositions as weird and wonderful as "...And The Gods Made Love" and "1983...(A Merman I Should Turn To Be)." Simultaneously looking forwards and backwards, Hendrix mixed in a song reminiscent of his time on the chitlin' circuit (Earl King's "Come On [Part 1]"), a Bob Dylan favorite ("All Along The Watchtower"), and one of his snappiest singles ("Crosstown Traffic"). Although Hendrix produced and wrote most of this masterpiece, others weighed in with their own contributions. Noel Redding penned "Little Miss Strange," and other guests such as Al Kooper and Buddy Miles showed up to play. Traffic's Steve Winwood and Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane also made cameos, appearing on this classic album's spiritual center, "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)."

I add new items most days..........please take a look
I usually begin items at a low price to generate interest and bidding.....................
All items carefully graded audio-visually, and are played on a high quality system.
Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I realize the requirements in the gradings of sleeves and discs , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised in listings ........I grade the discs beneath a light , to be sure of condition..................I notice that the usual practice by many sellers on eBay is using the buzzwords Stunning!!!!!!! , Superb!!!!!!!! , Awesome!!!!!!!! etc etc etc......does the amount of exclamation marks gauge how Rare!!!! an item is????? It is just eye catching nonsense.......... The items also have grossly long-winded descriptions .............these 'experts' also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading , and tends to hide the fact that the items on offer are only Average/Very Good , substandard items........and a 1000 word essay does not make what is an easily found VG condition item into a difficult to find Near Mint condition item.................. I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records........
I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)

Please check my feedback ratings , you will see that a large amount (over 1800) of my feedbacks are from repeat customers (many thanks).........and in the event of genuine complaints I will remedy the situation as soon as possible......
