Description

There are very few of these available on eBay, especially in this condition. This rare 1st UK Issue in Mono of Jimi Hendrix's Are You Experienced is in VG+ condition. Matrix in dead wax says A (upside down triangle) 1. 
Keep in mind this is an old record. I test played it twice.
It still has some shine to it. Side one has some minor surface hairline "scratches" that may cause an occasional pop but no skips. Side two has more light surface scuffs and light surface "scratches" that will cause some popping and there are two long surface "scratches" that look worse than they are.  
There is some crackling, especially at the beginning of both sides, but it lessens as you get further into the tracks and is mainly noticeable during quiet passages. If you have the record professionally deep cleaned you will probably be able to significantly reduce the crackling. I cleaned it twice with Disc Doctor's Miracle record Cleaner and there was a definite improvement after cleaning it the second time.
The two long surface scratches on side two do not cause any undue pops or skips. 
The sleeve is in VG+ condition. The front is laminated, I think it was sold that way as I have seen others on eBay with same treatment. It has kept the artwork underneath in excellent condition with no stains, fading, or snow. There is some minor ring wear and the laminate itself has some fading and shelf wear. The back cover is very clean with minor ring wear and someone wrote on the top right, see the pics. The edges have some wear, mainly the spine and bottom which are not covered by the laminate. But there is NO seam splitting. The laminate on the front does show some creasing, which I have included pics of.
