Rare "Axis Bold As Love" LP by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Track Records, 1967, Mono Version, 612 003 in laminated gatefold sleeve.
I have owned this item from new, and am selling it along with my entire vinyl collection.
Referring to the Record Collectors Guild Grading I would classify it as G/G+. For as record 37years old I don't consider the condition to be too bad at all.
The outer sleeve has been edged with cellotape which has "browned" with age and is partly peeled away, but without any significant deterioration of the cover. The spine has peeled for approx 40 mm in the centre, and slightly at each corner. There are numerous surface scratches which haven't penetrated the laminate except slightly in a 10mm length on the back. It also bears the owner's signature, but unfortunately in 1967 proof of ownership was more important that resale value.
The inner sleeve may be the original but I doubt it, becuse they've been mixed up over the years.
I have recently played the record and there are no jumps. However, visually Side 1 has one scratch 60mm long and three which are approx 40mm long, and Side 2 has several scratches approx 30mm long (all approximately radial). I can't feel any of these with a fingernail. There are various other much more minor scratches.
