Description

Well, this is the legendary Hendrix Album everybody wants... This is the monster rare Undocumented UK original 1967 UK Track Record Stereo pressing of 'Are You Experienced' This record is only rumoured to exist according to the 2006 UK Record Collector Price Guide 2006! IT IS QUITE PROBABLY THE RAREST JIMI HENDRIX ALBUM EVER OFFER FOR SALE!

Until now nobody has ever confirmed the existence of this record and it is described in the UK Record Collection guide 2006 only as being "rumoured to exist". To all intents and purposes this record is undocumented. Well here it is, the 1967 UK Stereo Track Record pressing of 'Are You Experienced' The rarest Jimi Hendrix album ever made. To my knowledge, this record has never been offered on eBay before and probably never will again. As no copies have ever surfaced before, I am guessing that this record was only ever made in Mono, and this Stereo copy must surely be a one off test pressing? Whatever the case, rest assured that this is indeed the legendary UK pressing.  It has the correct Black/Silver Track Record labels with the text 'Made in Gt. Britain' along the bottom rim of both centre labels. The labels also have the correct "613-001 STEREO" text  - (please see the labels in the images). The copyright date on the labels is 1967 and the Cat. No. is also the correct "613 001", as quoted in the 2006 UK Record Collector Price Guide.  The sleeve is not laminated and has "Stereo 613 001" printed in the bottom right hand corner. Please check the UK 2006 Record Collector Price Guide for confirmation that the Cat. numbers etc. match the record. For those without access to the UK record collecting 'Bible', I have included photos of the page detailing the record. You will clearly see printed on the far right of the page, the date, 1967 which clearly matches that of the labels. Secondly and perhaps most importantly, you will see the Cat no. 613-001 printed on the page. This also clearly matches the 613-001 on the centre labels. I have also included photos of the "Made in Gt. Britain" text that is at the bottom of each centre label. However I strongly recommend that you grad a copy of the 2006 Record Collector Price Guide and check for yourself. This is an amazing opportunity to own this undocumented Jimi Hendrix UK Track Record pressing!

I will leave you to decide the value of this amazing record. As it is probably the only pressing in existence I have nothing to reference it against! The UK Record collector have even left this space blank and not entered a price! I believe that this is the only record in the who book that has no price entered next to it!  I will thus let the bidding reflect its worth.  Rest assured that it will only be shipped only via insured delivery, or buyer can collect in person.

The condition of the vinyl is Excellent with just one or two hairlines. It has a deep shine and has clearly not been played very much at all. The labels are Near Mint with just some light spindle lines on side A and just a tiny solitary spindle line on side B. The jacket not Mint and is showing some wear; it fairly grades as Very Good Minus. There is some light ring wear and a small punch hole in the top right of the front side which goes all the way through. There is a lot of edge and spine wear which has obscured the spine text. Like I said earlier, the jacket is by no means Mint, however, I think you'll agree, it is the "uniquness" of this record that is of considerable interest here.

Due to the rarity of this record and the price it will probably fetch, the bidder ID has been kept private to prevent the winner being bombarded with opportunistic emails. Please check my 100% feedback and bid with confidence. I have added no reserve and a low start. I would consider a buy it now offer if it matched my expectations of the rarity of this record.

I've included as many photos as possible so you can see everything, including the relevant page in the 2006 UK Record Collector Price Guide. Please email me if you have any questions
