Record looks and plays E-. Has some minor scratches on the "A" side label and a small spot of white paint on the "B" side label ( see scans). A very clean Victor Race series recording from 1928.
I use standard VJM 78 RPM grading ( detailed descriptions of this grading can be found on the internet) using grades of:E+, E, E-, V+, V, V-, G+, G, G-, and P in descending order. I do not list 78's as New, or Mint, as I play my records and once played, the best grade a record can receive from me is E+. Records at V or above are better than average and quite listenable. I tend to overstate imperfections. Light scuffs and scratches are inaudible, but mentioned so the buyer will not be surprised upon receipt of records. I have never listed a P ( wall hanger) and records graded G+ or less are usually listed because of rarity.
