NOTES:.....Back in 1965 Hot Rod / Surf LP Records were HOT. Hayden Proffitt tried to cash in on this trend by starting his own record label. Hayden Proffitt presents Jim Head and His Del Rays, is a super RARE hot rod/surf LP is from 1965. Only around 600 of these LP's were pressed back in 1965. The cover picture is of Hayden Proffitt with Jim Head and his Del Rays around Proffitt’s famous 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone drag car. The photo was taken at the famous Lions Drag Strip in Long Beach, California. This famous drag strip went defunct in 1972 because of development around the track.
