JIM CLARK aka THE MALEDICTUS SOUND Lp by J.P. MASSIERA. Original Italian pressing on the GRAND PRIX label (GP 1001), from circa 1968. Incredible, Studio S.E.M. session by the cult French producer with group. This Lp is the very obscure Italian issue of Les Maledictus Sound / L'Experience 9 session. Top psychedelic themes featuring the thumping hip hop beats and orchestrated funk rock of KRIMINAL THEME / JIM CLARK WAS DRIVING RECKLESSLY / INSIDE MY BRAIN and other experimental groove. Word is, Massiera lifted the strings from the 1st Lard Free Lp and also sampled electronics by Pierre Henry for this legendary session. Twisted studio overdubs / wild screams / bizarre voices / heavy fuzz distortions / tape manipulation / double time signatures and psych orchestrations. Great for DJs. WELCOME MR DRACULA sounds like a missing theme from The Vampires Of Dartmoore - Dracula's Music Cabinet Lp. Stoned French Library fuzz sound on here with Le Baron Bernard Estardy style gothic hammond and horror sound FX on HEATHCLIFF I CRY YOUR NAME too. Fuzz guitar solos by Massiera himself with the hottest French session players, including funky drummer, Andre Ceccarelli. Seldom seen Italian sleeve artwork (dedicated to Formula 1 racing driver, Jim Clark) / back sleeve is a freaky horror montage of images. Rare Lp!!!
