Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc have light surface wear only , just a few very light surface lines. Absolutely great sound quality , with only very little between band surface noise (very light) Graded : Visually EXCELLENT , Aurally EXCELLENT+ condition.

Label Condition:- The rough texture labels have light wear only , a little spindle use : EXCELLENT condition (photo below)

Condition of Sleeve:- The Laminated Gatefold Sleeve has very light use , bright and crisp , no edge or spine wear : EXCELLENT condition.

Notes:Jethro Tull: Ian Anderson (vocals, flute, clag horn, mouth organ, piano); Mick Abrahams (guitar, background vocals); Glenn Cornick (bass); Clive Bunker (drums). Producers: Terry Ellis, Jethro Tull. Recorded at Sound Techniques Studio, London, England between June 13 and August 23, 1968. Jethro Tull's first album is a debut of incredible maturity that fitted in nicely between blues and prog. Guitarist Mick Abrahams was the darling of the UK rock clubs, and for a brief moment held a candle to Clapton, especially with his showpiece "Cat's Squirrel". Abrahams soon left to form Blodwyn Pig. Singer Ian Anderson, the undisputed leader, wore a ratty overcoat, played flute, and pranced like a mad elf. Live they were tremendous, and on record they got even better. "Song For Jeffrey" was the choice single. Other interesting tracks are the flute-led "Serenade For a Cuckoo" (written by Roland Kirk) and "Dharma For One", with that greatest of rarities--an interesting drum solo.

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I realize the requirements in the gradings of sleeves and discs , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised in listings ........I notice that the usual practice by many sellers on eBay is using the buzzwords 'Stunning' , 'Superb' , 'Awesome' 'etc etc etc...... and have grossly long-winded descriptions .............these 'experts' also add technical information , which is totally unrelated and untrue to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading , and tends to hide the fact that the items on offer are only Average/Very Good , substandard items........and a 1000 word essay with vague photographs does not make what is a VG condition item into Mint condition item.................. I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records........

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice....)
