JETHRO TULL - This Was - first press UK Island MONO LP
The time has come to bite the bullet and sell more of my vinyl collection - some classical, some jazz, some pop, rock, folk & psych. I know it won't be appreciated by my daughter or the next generation, so I'm shifting it myself and hope I find good homes for it. The hard work is deciding what to let go first, but it will probably be duplicates, stuff I have on CD and items unplayed for ages. You never know, there might just be something to suit your taste.

The Album:
The album which introduced Tull .. just listened to it again now - doesn't seem to have aged. I have a CD copy so maybe someone needs a decent early one on heavy vinyl?
Condition:
Cover: Laminated gatefold cover has minimal wear and a small amount of laminate creasing. It's intact, no tears, no writing, fully legible spine.
Labels: Matt textured Island eye labels. Labels are clean, have few obvious spindle marks and are excellent with no writing.
Vinyl: Heavy vinyl has a few surface scrapes, no deep scratches. It generally plays really well, just some barely discernible crackle in quiet bits, nothing particularly intrusive. I have never attempted to clean this album, and as with all records of this age there's every chance that a good clean might further improve play quality by eliminating accumulated dust and static.
Overall:
A very nice copy of this album - I guess it might be professionally graded at (cover / vinyl) VG+ / VG+

Please note that I try to test-play at least part of each record before listing, but do not have time to play fully in all cases. I played a lot of this one, but if you do discover a problem which I might have missed, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do all I can to rectify the situation.
Postage: Approximate prices - UK £3.00 for 1 or 2 LPs, Europe £5.20 + £1.80 each additional, Rest of world £8.30 + £3.70 each additional item - these amounts include estimated actual Royal Mail cost for first class or air mail, plus 40p for cost of packaging material (a brand new custom mailer with stiffener).
