Description
Extremely clean copy of the 1972 Jethro Tull "Thick As A Brick" LP, UK Chrysalis CHR1003 with the gatefold newspaper jacket including the 4 page newspaper insert. I purchased this LP in 1972 and it is from my personal collection. Matrix numbers are: Side one CHR1003 A-3U "Porky"; Side two CHR1003 B-2U "Pecko".
The vinyl is in "NM" condition having only been played a few times; it has been stored in a poly lined paper sleeve. The jacket is in "NM-" condition with only the faintest ringwear; there are no seam splits or edgewear (see photos).
I use the Goldmine rating system as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
