I am music fan who has collected vinyl records over many years and over the coming days/weeks I will be offering rare, and much sought after vinyl records including Prog Rock, Blues, Folk, etc from collectible labels such as Pink Island, Blue Horizon, Deram/Decca, Atlantic plum, Vertigo swirl etc etc..

 This is a very collectible LP by the brilliant Jethro Tull . This LP is highly collectible, especially in this condition! The fold-out newspaper sleeve is in excellent+ condition with no rips, tears, unwanted ink. The heavy card newspaper sleeve is superb – Amazing for an LP 38yrs old! This UK 1st pressing on the green Chrysalis label with small white ‘I’ atop of label is flawless and retains superb sound quality! There is absolutely no groove-wear, no pops, no clicks, no ‘breakfast frying’, no sticks, no jumps…etc..….It is absolutely outstanding!!

Discerning and serious collectors, and particularly Jethro Tull devotee’s, know that to have this LP on this original LP in such wonderful condition is a ‘must’, and an indispensable addition to their catalogue.

Record Grading

There is absolutely no groove-wear, no pops, no clicks, no ‘breakfast frying’ sound, no sticks, no jumps…etc..….It is absolutely brilliant!

Before I offer for sale I play grade to check my LP’s and I have just played both sides on an upmarket deck.

The winning bidder will not only be thrilled but also amazed at the quality of the vinyl, and fragile inner fold-out newspaper! Remember and please bear in mind that this original UK pressing is over 38yrs old!

The vinyl is bright and clean!

As always, I am being genuine and highly critical, but honest in my evaluation of the LP; You’d be thinking I’m doing myself an injustice with my description but I treat others the way I wish to be treated myself so I am describing it to the best of my ability. (Also, I have not attempted to clean the record in case of damage to the LP and because it’s in such outstanding condition it doesn’t require any object or cleaning agent applied, in fact the only implement this LP requires is a stylus!)

LP Cover

The absolutely superb and unblemished fold-out newspaper sleeve of the St. Cleve Chronicle is in excellent+!! condition. No writing/ink, no rips or tears or unsightly creases and the inner newspaper still ‘folds’ where it should fold! The outer sleeve is clean and bright and the inner newspaper retains all the authenticity of the LP’s release date of Feb 18th 1972 as stated in the Tull article/album review on page 7 of the newspaper.

Labels

Immaculate!! No spindle marks, unwanted ink or unsightly blemishes. Both labels truly stunning and unmarked (see images)
