Due to parcels not arriving items sent to the following countries must be
sent fully insured. If value is between £20 and £50 the cost is £10.65. Each extra lp up to 5 lps is £1.60 each
If value is between over £50 the cost is £13.25. Each extra lp up to 5 lps is £1.60 each.
This applies to Russia Italy and Ukraine.

Notes
This is the earliest UK issue, with the Island logo & radial text in white at the head of the labels.
The 12-page newspaper gatefold-style sleeve has a heavyweight card construction of the record pocket, unlike later issues using a lighter card stock . Consequently, there is a noticeable paper weight difference between the 2 sleeve versions. The Chrysalis imprint appears on page 12. See photo.
Later repress (2nd press) issues do not have the Island imprint on the labels;

Newspaper cover. Generally in good condition with no major problems. Some of the inner pages have a bit of discolouration. JETHRO TULL THICK AS A BRICK CHR 1003 on spine.
Labels & Condition:- With white "i" at top of labels. Green Red Black Chrysalis in superb near mint condition. Beautiful unmarked labels with bright vibrant colours and NO sign of any spindle marks or trails.
Catalogue Number:- CHR 1003.
Inner sleeve. Plain inner. The previous owner has printed THICK AS A BRICK on it.
UK Original First Pressing. Chrysalis with white lettering at rim. Only the first pressings had this.
Original Year of Release: 1972. Recorded at Morgan Sound Studios, North London.
Matrix Nos: CHR 1003 A-3U CHR 1003 B-2U.
"Porky" etched into dead wax on side 1 and"Pecko" etched into dead wax on side 2.
Album Played For Grading: All my records are FULLY played for testing purposes. Not just guessed at!!
