JETHRO TULL - THICK AS A BRICK - 1972 TURKISH LP - VERY GOOD +
This is a MEGA rare Turkish LP release of Jethro Tull's 1972 album "Thick As A Brick"; Tracks: Side 1: Thick As A Brick; Side 2: Thick As A Brick. No playing times are mentioned on the disc's centre labels nor on the sleeve.
This LP was legally released in Turkey in 1972 on the Reprise Records label (brown steamboat label), catalogue number MS 2072, made and distributed in Turkey by Melodi Records; the disc's centre labels mention the "TÜRK MALI" artist protection identification. The record goes in a white paper inner sleeve with centre cut-out on both sides, and goes in a gatefold outer sleeve which is the cover page of the newspaper in tabloid format like the original release (see second and third picture). The other inner pages (pages 3 to 10) of the newspaper are not included (this was originally as such) and the record goes in the sleeve from the inside (see fourth picture).
The record is made of good quality vinyl and is in very good to excellent condition; there is some surface noise here and there but surely no deterioration in the sound quality; there are no scratches or jumps. The inner sleeve is in excellent condition; no damage at all. The outer sleeve is in very good condition; there is no tear, there are no stains or nicks, there is no writing; there is only some wear at the outside edges of it, hardly visible on the pictures. Overall, this LP can be graded as in Very Good Plus condition.
An extremely rare original Turkish LP release of "Thick As A Brick" in an uncommon format; a must have for your Jethro Tull collection!!
