These records are in good+ condition. All four labels do have light spindle marks visible, but no pen marks, scuffs or any other serious issues. The centre holes are not loose and overall the labels are in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, all four sides are free from anything really serious or deep but do have some light scratches as marks showing in normal light. The worst of these scratches occur on side 1 where there are 3 or 4 marks(pretty light and not really sinister). However all the sides have loads of, what look like light wispy scratches. These are very soft and could well be imperfections in the vinyl itself rather than scratches. They are none the less visually noticable across all four sides and give the vinyl a fairly unattractive appearence. So overall the records are free of anything really major, but do have some scratches on side 1 and general wear and very light scratches over all four sides.
I play tested both records and they lay flat and played well overall with no major issues such as skips, sticks or really loud disruptive clicks. Saying this there is some light clicks audible in the quieter parts. These are mostly on side 1 but there is also some on sides 3 and 4. There is no major issue with surface noise with only a mild amount in the run in and between tracks. Most of the audio with any volume is nice and clear with no major interference. Overall the audio is not pristine but is also still enjoyable despite the light interference. I have graded low to compensate for the occasional interference and visual appearence, and think this is fair.
The textured gatefold sleeve is in very good- condition. This has some wear to the edges and corners but nothing drastic and overall it is solid enough. The text on the spine has faded however and it is now hard to read. There is also a hint of age related grubbiness throughout.
Inside the gatefold the original booklet is present but has come loose and is now seperate. Other than being loose there are no tears or pen marks and only slight creasing. There are however ring marks showing and some grubbiness or signs of damp in places. The record housing has also a split on the rear edge which has been taped at somepoint. So overall despite not sounding great the sleeve isnt too horrific and still houses the lps and appears pretty decent. I would say a grade of VG- is fair. Howevr describing the sleeve is hard and so please also study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible to its condition.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
